Okayama is blessed with more sunshine than almost any other prefecture in Japan — earning it the nickname “Land of Sunshine.” It’s home to one of Japan’s three great gardens, a stunning black castle, and the birthplace of the beloved Momotaro (Peach Boy) legend.
